NTPC Korba has participated in the district level Women's Cricket Cup known by the name of Urja Cup.

The team constituting of both female employees and residents of the township, won the match against Lions Club of Korba by whooping 08 wickets.

The match also saw presence of Shri Jaisingh Agrawal, Minister of Revenue, Govt. of Chhattisgarh and other senior officials of district administration.

Shri B. R. Rao, CGM Korba congratulated the team for the win and motivated them to keep striving. 

Also present in the ceremony were Shri Prabhat Ram, HoHR and members of CSR and HR team.
